My family and I visited the Lil Rebel recently while we were in South Carolina. The staff were very friendly and we were greeted warmly from the moment we entered. We were shown to our table and began looking over the menu. The menu is what one would expect at a family restaurant. They serve sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs, chili dogs, chicken, etc. Their menu emphasizes southern cooking and they do it very well. The sides especially are very good. My wife had the onion rings and the quality was good, but the batter was bland. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. Our server was not only friendly, but also attentive. I would recommend the Lil Rebel.

Fast meat and three with the best chicken sandwiches! I used to meet my boyfriend here for dinner every Tue/Thur. We fell in love over the ginormous Cajun chicken sandwiches. We still eat there once a month to introduce our kids to cars at their classic car shows, and to get my okra/chicken fried steak/Cajun chicken sandwich fix. It’s a good Christian business-love all the people who work there! I had the greens and sweet potato casserole; they were both delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed our food. Some of the dishes were a little bland.

Like Mother Used To Make. Whenever time is of the essence, or when we just don’t feel like cooking, my wife and I make a trip to Lil Rebel Family Restaurant. As a rule, there is always a crowd there, but we have yet to be turned away. The food very much reminds me of my mother’s cooking and the kind of food that was prevelant in most family reunions. Burgers, fries, meatloaf, gravy, green beans, all the comfort food that was a staple in my youth they serve here.
